Park City’s Old Town is a quaint city steeped in beauty, history, convenience and opportunity. It is surrounded by the beautiful Wasatch Mountains, and year-round recreational opportunities with over 9,000 acres of mountain trails, dozens of annual cultural events, and wonderful shopping, dining and entertainment. The town is located 7,000 feet above sea level and enjoys a dry, sunny, and generally ideal climate, four seasons a year.

Main Street boasts over 70 retail shops, over 50

restaurants and bars and several dozen art galleries, mixed in with plenty of tourist attractions from the historic Egyptian Theater to the Historical Society and Museum, which will be unveiling a brand new, refurbished home in 2009 rich in history and the tales of Park City from the 1800s to present day.

Main Street enjoys the benefits of a free public transit system, which helps visitors get around without having to rent a vehicle, a big plus in keeping our air clean and traffic congestion to a minimum. It’s no wonder with all the public amenities we offer combined with the laidback energy and overwhelming hospitality of our local community that Park City has caught the attention of the annual international Sundance Film Festival for 28 years, bringing tens of thousands of visitors and showcasing the best independent films in the world. We played host to over 80% of the 2002 Olympic Winter Games events, an international coup that spotlighted what every local has known about Park City for decades.

We invite you to experience Main Street, Park City on your own terms and we guarantee a vacation that will provide memories for a lifetime.

Welcome!
